Senate Looks at Sunset Provisions for State Agencies

Sen. Chip Rogers, R-Woodstock, updates residents of Senate District 21 on week 4 of the legislative session of Georgia's General Assembly.

• Sunset provisions for state agencies, requiring them to justify their existence on a rotating basis;
• A charter school amendment, allowing the creation of state-chartered schools that would receive funding from their local school district;
• Keeping the HOPE Scholarship based on academic excellence, and rejecting an income cap.
