Rep. Riley Excited About Republican Majority

Johns Creek resident elected chairwoman of Fulton House Delegation.

With a new legislative session kicking off, Johns Creek's own Rep. Lynne Riley has been named to a new leadership position in the Georgia House of Representatives.

"I am honored to have been elected Chairwoman of the Fulton County House Delegation," said Riley on her website. "In 2013, my colleagues and I will deliver a legislative package designed to benefit every citizen of Fulton County by lowering taxes and enhancing service delivery."

Riley told Patch that this year is significant in that it's the first time the Fulton delegation will have a Republican majority, and that her election as chair will enable the delegation to move legislation through that is important to North Fulton constituents.
