Rejection of Charter School Vote Disappoints Sen. Chip Rogers

Sen. Chip Rogers, R-Woodstock, says the property tax overhauls made in recent years will continue in his weekly legislative address.

The Senate Majority Leader, who is scheduled to represent all of Milton and half of Alpharetta when Senate district lines change, also says he's disappointed that the state Senate voted down a state charter school resolution. Fellow senators decided not to let Georgia citizens vote on whether state charter schools should be allowed.

Sen. Rogers invites his constituents to submit questions via email, which may be answered in a future legislative address. Include your county in your email.
