After Johns Creek connected a trail on Douglas Road with an Alpharetta trail last year, a newly opened trail along Kimball Bridge Road has also connected the two North Fulton cities.

The Kimball Bridge Trail begins at Kimball Bridge and Fox roads and connects to Webb Bridge Park, which is a popular recreation area for residents in northeastern Johns Creek.

On the Johns Creek city website, Public Works Director Tom Black says the quarter-mile-long, 8-foot-wide pathway also “ties into existing trails on Jones Bridge Road and on Sargent Road."

I love that more pedestrian friendly pathways are being built. But, let's have some truth in advertising! This is a quarter mile of sidewalk, not a "trail". It runs along a busy road with a drainage ditch and cars for scenery. I had to smile when this article then amped up what are normally called trails into "rustic trails".
