Milton Wants More Input on Bell Memorial Park

The city spent almost $1.3 million buying land to expand the park.

Milton residents get one more chance to comment on the proposed Bell Memorial Park expansion project on Thursday, June 27.

City staff has conducted focused research by contacting representatives from stakeholder groups that represent sports leagues, trails enthusiasts, local neighborhoods and others.

This meeting will be held at Milton City Hall, 13000 Deerfield Parkway Suite 107,Β and moderated by the city's plan partner, Foresite Group.

Milton paid $1.287 million for the land from the city's parks acquisition budget after a unanimous City Council vote in September 2012. On March 18, City Council approved Foresite Group's bid of $54,000 for Bell Memorial Park master plan design and construction services. Β
