Milton Resident Speaks Against Historic Designation as Spot Zoning

City Council deferred a public hearing on the zoning designation until its December zoning meeting.

The Milton City Council voted to defer action Monday, Nov. 21, on its proposed historic district zoning designation at the request of Council member Karen Thurman.

She said members of the community told her they had not been aware of the zoning designation.

"A lot of questions need to be answered by our city attorney," Thurman said.
