Milton Considers Adopting An Historic District Ordinance

The City Council deferred a vote on the proposal at its November meeting.

Milton City Council is scheduled to consider adopting a that it put off after discussion at its November meeting.

The council also plans to approve another two-year agreement with Fulton County for animal control, with payment based on the number and type of calls.

City Council meets in at 6 p.m. today, Dec. 19.

The developer of Deerfield Green on Deerfield Parkway will ask council to approve a site plan change that states lots 186 through 220 of the townhome development shall have a front entry two-car garage and a minimum heated floor area of 1,850 square feet .

Want to sell gold in Milton, or pawn some valuables? Milton doesn't have a pawn shop yet, but council will consider amending its secondhand goods ordinance to add precious metal dealers. And it has plans to amend that same ordinance dealing with pawn shops.
