Milton Charter Commission to Discuss Mayor's Powers, Term Limits

The panel will be making recommendations to the Georgia General Assembly on what, if any, changes need to be made to how the city operates.

After five years, do you think how the city of Milton's government operates is what its residents need? Does the mayor need more power? Should term limits be adopted?

A Charter Commission, established in December 2011, is tasked with making a review and make recommendations of any changes to the city charter to the Georgia General Assembly.

Tonight the Charter Commission meets for the second time, and after considering what was discussed at the Jan. 20 meeting, they will discuss:
