Weather Cancels Author's Visit to Milton City Hall
City Council cancels work session well in advance of storm forecast.
Icy roads will prevent author Tom Kohler from visiting Milton City Hall on Tuesday, Jan. 11.
The city’s Disability Awareness Committee had invited Kohler for a reading and a question and answer session about his book, "Waddie Welcome and the Beloved Community" in Milton City Council Chambers. But the winter storm forced this event to be canceled like so many others.
On Wednesday, Milton’s Historic Preservation Commission is scheduled to meet at City Hall at 6 p.m. as the group continues to form. Check back at Alpharetta-Milton Patch or at the city's Web site for updates.
