Milton Asks Residents to Comment on Three-Year Strategic Plan.
Public meeting on April 28 gives city residents a chance to voice their opinions.
Milton City Manager Chris Lagerbloom began Monday evenings City Hall meeting with an overview of the city's strategic plan. The plan, according to the city's Web site, is a three-year “road map” for city accomplishments.
“We are going out into the community and soliciting feedback on where we are with respect to having put the plan together; whether we’re on track, off track, need to change directions,” said Lagerbloom.
The public will be able to provide further input at a City Hall meeting that will be held Thursday, April 28 from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
A Patriots Day proclamation was presented by council member Bill Lusk to the Sons of the American Revolution, of which Lusk is a member.
Lusk read aloud the city of Milton’s Patriot Day proclamation ending with, “We encourage our citizens to honor the many patriots for whom Georgia counties and towns are named.”
Milton’s Patriot’s Day is Tuesday, April 19.
