Mayfield Road Water Main Break Fixed Quickly
The problem only affected approximately 50 customers, and was handled within an hour.
Fulton County crews fixed a water main break in less than an hour this afternoon, avoiding any traffic mess that could have resulted.
The break was reported to the public just before 4 p.m., and Fulton County spokesman Bob Giordano said it was fixed in a hurry. The outage was approximately from Mayfield Circle on Mayfield Road to Hwy 9 and parts of Canton Street starting at Church Street.
Crews were already on site when the county notified the public of the break.
