Hundreds Find Food Truck Alley for Some Dinner

The start of the weekly special event was delayed for a week by bad weather, but Thursday night's visit by food trucks was a success.

Half of Old Roswell Street in Alpharetta was filled with food trucks and area residents who wanted a chance to dine out on something a bit different.

Food Truck Alley began on Thursday, April 18, a week later than planned because of horrible weather last week.

Food Truck Alley will be held on Thursdays on Old Roswell Street in downtown Alpharetta from 5-9 p.m. Fork in the Road is helping organize the event and Music Matters is providing the entertainment. All you have to do is provide a healthy appetite – and bring cash or credit cards to buy your food.

Parking is available at the city lot across from Old Roswell Street at its intersection with Roswell Street; in the city parking lot accessible by Old Roswell Street, and; at Milton Center, a short walk to Old Roswell Street. (It's probably quicker to reach the Food Truck Alley from Milton Center if you walk up Milton Avenue to the western end of Old Roswell Street.)

See you there next Thursday, April 25. Look for the guy with the Patch hat if I'm there and I'll take your picture or a video clip.
