Georgia's New Gun Law: What Do You Think?

Poll shows unhappiness with new gun law.

In what was touted as signature legislation passed just weeks ahead of  the May 20 primary election, state lawmakers expanded the list of places where Georgians may legally carry firearms to include schools, bars, government buildings and, for the first time, churches.

Turns out the legislation is less popular than thought.

An Atlanta Journal-Constitution poll shows that Georgia voters roundly disapprove of the is year of the legislation. Among respondents in the new poll, 59 percent gave House Bill 60 a thumbs-down.
