The Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections encourages registered voters to participate in the General Primary Election on Tuesday, July 31. Registered voters can participate through one of three ways: absentee voting by mail, advance voting in person, and voting on Election Day.
Absentee Voting by Mail
Registered voters can request an absentee ballot by mail by filling out an absentee ballot application and faxing it to the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections at 404-730-8839 or 404-730 7024. The application is available online at www.fultoncountyga.gov/registration-elections. The deadline to request an absentee ballot for the primary is Friday, July 27. Completed absentee ballots must be received by the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections no later than 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31.
Advance Voting in Person
Advance voting in person for the General Primary is currently being held through Friday, July 27, at three locations: Fulton County Public Safety Building (130 Peachtree St., SW, Suite 2186, Atlanta 30303), North Fulton Service Center (7741 Roswell Road, Suite 232, Sandy Springs 30350), and the South Fulton Service Center (5600 Stonewall Tell Road, Room 108, College Park 30349) Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday voting will be offered at all three locations on Saturday, July 21, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Election Day
On the day of the General Primary Election, voting precincts will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31. Voters can visit the My Voter Page on the Georgia Secretary of State's website to look up their specific precinct, or call the Department of Registration and Elections at 404-612-7020.
The unofficial results will be available online on the Fulton County website after 7 p.m. on Election Day. Election results are unofficial until certified by the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections on Saturday, Aug. 4.
