Downtown Alpharetta Trade Association Hosting Candidate Forum

The Downtown Alpharetta Trade Association is hosting a public forum for the candidates running for city office in the upcoming elections on Tuesday November 8, 2011.
The forum will start at 6:00pm with a light appetizer, cash bar meet greet where people will have an opportunity to speak with the candidates.
Hatcher Hurd will begin moderating the event which will start between 6:30pm and 6:45pm with the introduction of Mayoral candidates Jim Paine, David Bell Isle and Doug DeRito. Each candidate will have 2 minutes for opening statements. The candidates will be presented with 5 or 6 questions each and will have 1 minute to reply and close with a 1 minute summation.
City Council candidates Donald Mitchell, Ron Carter, Cheryl Oakes, DC Aiken, Michael Cross, Jim Gilvin, and Hans Appen are up next with introductions and 2 minute opening statements in the order of their post. Moderator Hatcher Hurd will again present 5 or 6 questions to each candidate for which they will have 1 minute to reply followed by a 1 minute summation.
All candidates will then field questions from the audience that were submitted on a card prior to the event and chosen, for the remainder of the time..
