City Council has a full agenda with its downtown City Center, zoning hearings and the public safety radio system just a few of the items on its agenda.

Alpharetta City Council has a full agenda tonight starting off with updates from its economic development partner and the latest on downtown City Center plans.

The City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. in council chambers at Alpharetta City Hall. The meeting also will be streamed live online through the city's website.

Alpharetta first entered into a partnership with Progress Partners, the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce's economic development arm, when it had a vacancy in its economic development staff. Since then the city hired Peter Tokar.

City Council is expected to approve an intergovernment agreement that brings five North Fulton cities together to fund and install a radio system expected to cost between $14 million and $16 million, split among the cities – Alpharetta, Milton, Johns Creek, Roswell and Sandy Springs.
