Alpharetta Neighborhoods Will Go Dry on Tuesday

Fulton County will turn the water off for some Webb Bridge and Shirley Bridge roads residents in an improvement project.

Tuesday is going to be a dry day for residents along Webb Bridge and Shirley Bridge roads. The Fulton County Department of Public Works-Water Services has notified the City of Alpharetta that water service will be shut off in that area between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on June 7.

The water shut off is necessary so the water system can switch to upgraded facilities installed as part of the Webb Bridge Road/Shirley Bridge Road Intersection Improvement project, according to a news release from the city. Residents in the following locations should anticipate lack of water services throughout the day:

  • Big Creek Overlook
  • Little Creek Crossing
  • Big Creek Court
  • Webb Bridge Road - (between Lake Windward Drive and Park Glenn Drive

For more information about the water shut off, contact Earl Burrell with Fulton County Department of Public Works Water Services at 404-612-7462.
