Alpharetta Mayor Named Chair of Convention and Visitors Bureau

David Belle Isle will serve as the 2014-15 chairman of the board for the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Alpharetta Mayor David Belle Isle has been inducted as the 2014-15 chairman of the board for the city's Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Isle was chosen during the bureau's annual meeting last week at The Metropolitan Club.

“I am grateful for the privilege to lead the Alpharetta CVB Board, which consists of some of Georgia's best hospitality leaders” Isle said. “As the hospitality industry grows, it continues to increase the importance of tourism in Alpharetta, bringing jobs, new dollars and a greater economic impact for our businesses and citizens. The Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau’s role in sparking interest in our attractions, events, hotels and restaurants is crucial to the ongoing financial health of Alpharetta. I look forward to proudly representing the hospitality partners in our city.”

The 2014-15 Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau board of directors are:
