Alpharetta, Johns Creek Scouts Practice Good Citizenship

Scouts from three local troops attended the Aug. 1 Alpharetta City Council meeting.

Boy Scouts from three local troops attended the Aug. 1 Alpharetta City Council meeting to earn Citizenship and Communications badges.

The Scouts will need to turn in reports from the meeting to complete requirements of the badges.

Scouts from Troop 429 out of Alpharetta Presbyterian Church, Troop 629 at Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church in Johns Creek and Troop 3143 at Johns Creek United Methodist Church attended the meeting.

The Scouts led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance to start the meeting before introducing themselves to Mayor Arthur Letchas and the City Council.

Troop 629: Benny Beirberm and Brandon Bierberm.

Troop 3143: Rajiv Reddy and Sundeep Ravikumar.
