Alpharetta Helps Residents Recycle Old Electronics for Free

You can bring unwanted electronics to the same site where your confidential documents will be shredded on Saturday, April 20.

Now that you've got your new tablet and a brand new smartphone, all of those other gadgets and electronics really look out of date and are painfully slow, aren't they? Well, if they are truly of no value or no longer work, bring them to Alpharetta Electronics Recycling Day on Saturday, April 20.

Alpharetta residents and businesses are invited to help preserve the environment by recycling their unwanted electronic devices. The city and the Alpharetta Natural Resources Commission will hold an Electronics Recycling Day April 20 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety parking lot, accessible off Westside Parkway south of Old Milton Parkway.

This event is being held in conjunction with a community document shredding event at the same location:

The City of Alpharetta has teamed up with “Atlanta Recycling Solutions” to accomplish the collection.  The event is designed to give residents and businesses the opportunity to properly recycle and dispose electronic waste.  Atlanta Recycling Solutions recycles everything it accepts and materials are NEVER sent to be processed in developing nations – everything is done here in North America.

Accepted at no charge:
