Alpharetta, Golden Age Club Plans Community Yard and Bake Sale

The event will be held at North Park in two weeks on Saturday, April 20.

A Community Yard and Bake Sale with plenty of parking doesn't seem likely but the Alpharetta Golden Age Club has it covered by holding one on Saturday, April 20 at North Park.

The event actually will use up some of those parking spaces next to the Alpharetta Adult Activity Center, but there are plenty of other spots just a short walk farther into the park.

The Golden Age Club is working with the City of Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department to hold the event on Saturday, April 20, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

There will be approximately 25 vendors selling a variety of yard sale items. The Golden Age Club will also have refreshments and home baked goods available for purchase.  In case of inclement weather, this event will be canceled.  Call 678-297-6140 on event day for updates on plans.

The Alpharetta Golden Age Club is affiliated with the City of Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department and provides social, active, and volunteer opportunities for members year-round.  Annual membership fees are $12 per person.  Proceeds generated from club fundraisers such as the Community Yard and Bake Sale benefit local senior programs and charitable organizations.
