Alpharetta Could Add War Memorial To City Center Plans

The cost of the war memorial will be submitted at a later date.

The Alpharetta City Council could consider an amendment to its City Center Master Plan that would add a Veterans War Memorial during its meeting tonight.

The meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. at Alpharetta City Hall.

If given final approval, the construction cost of the memorial would be around $25,471, which only includes concrete work, brick work, new drain, pavers in lieu of flagstone and some layout work.

The funding request for the memorial would be submitted at a later date.

The council will also consider moving forward with issuing requests for qualifications to develop mixed-use outparcels for the City Center project, its Recreation and Parks Master Plan and granting beer/wine/liquor/Sunday sales licenses to Tin Roof Kitchen and TopGolf USA Alpharetta, LLC.

Following the meeting, the council will hold an executive session to discuss a real estate matter.

See the attached document to review what else is on tonight's agenda.
