Alpharetta Christian Academy Fifth Graders Serve Lunch to City Workers



Fifth graders at did their bit for public service by serving lunch to more than 200 city of Alpharetta workers.

On Sept. 6, the fifth grade at Alpharetta Christian Academy in conjunction with served a Jim and Nick’s barbecue lunch to the city workers at , according to Melissa Vater of the school.

"The fifth graders had the pleasure of serving Alpharetta’s public service workers including personnel from fire and police, engineering and public works, parks and recreation, and the mayor and his staff," Vater said. "The church and the school worked together to provide and serve the food to show appreciation for Alpharetta’s public servants.
