Children age 3 to 10 can participate in the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Alpharetta's North Park softball fields 1-4 on Saturday, March 23.

The hunt begins promptly at 11 a.m. Children will be divided into age groups as they "hunt" for thousands of plastic eggs filled with toys and candy.

Although there won't be a designated area for children age 2 and under, they won't be going home empty-handed. Each child age 2 and under will receive a special Easter surprise.

The city of Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department and the Alpharetta Golden Age Club again will co-sponsor the event.
