Alpharetta Business Association Hosts Second State of the City Breakfast

Alpharetta Mayor David Belle Isle will make his second address since taking office in January 2012.

Alpharetta Mayor David Belle Isle had barely taken office when he gave his first State of the City address, but in it he laid out an ambitious future for the city. On Tuesday, Feb. 19, he will give his second address at The Metropolitan Club.

Belle Isle announced plans for an Alpharetta Technology Commission, proposed a conference and convention center for the North Fulton city and backed redevelopment of downtown Alpharetta. Two of those have moved forward, while the third – a conference and convention center – has been the subject of study by the city.

The 2012 State of the City address was held in a large tent in the parking lot next to Alpharetta City Hall. For 2013, however, the event moves indoors to The Metropolitan Club on Marconi Drive.
