All of this is going to make the late afternoon-early evening commute a soggy mess.

It will still be warm, with a high near 77.

Overnight, showers and possibly a thunderstorm are in the forecast between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m., then showers and thunderstorms are likely after 3 a.m. The low will be around 54.

After a chance of showers before 8 a.m. Friday – just 30 percent – the day should turn out nice and sunny, if a bit windy. The high will be near 71 degrees, with west winds 10-15 mph and gusts as high as 25 mph. The low Friday will be a bit cooler, dropping to around 41 degrees. The wind will slow down to 5-10 mph, with gusts reaching 20 mph.

It will be sunny, slightly wind and warm with a high of 72 on Saturday, and up to 75 on Sunday. That should make the Alpharetta Arts Streetfest pleasant if the 15 mph gusts of wind don't cause too many problems.
