Aerial Photos Show Alpharetta City Center Construction Progress

Alpharetta City Center construction and site work continues in downtown Alpharetta – when it isn't raining. Completion of the site is still scheduled for August 2014.

The contractor, Choate Construction, provides some aerial photos of the site on the city's website. In those photos the location of the new City Hall is clearly visible as work progresses on the two-story building. Brook Street Park may look very small in one photo, but its size is revealed through another photo.

Ground was broken in July 2013 for the City Center, which will include a new City Hall, a 450-space parking deck, a city park, a town square and the interior streets to access everything. A portion of the site was donated to the Atlanta-Fulton County Library System for a new Alpharetta library branch that is expected to open early in 2015.
