Water Crew Ruptures Gas Line, Closing Part of Kimball Bridge

Kimball Bridge Road has been closed by the city of Alpharetta from Westside Parkway to Northwinds Parkway becauser of a gas leak.

Fulton County crews working on a water main in the area struck and ruptured a gas line, according to Assistant City Administrator James Drinkard.

Utility crews have been notified; however, no estimated duration for the road closure is available at this time.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
