On May 7 at 1:52 p.m., Milton Police Officer B. Maciel got a call about disorderly juveniles skateboarding inside a building at 1475 Alpharetta Highway.

The Alpharetta officer said that when he approached the building, he observed numerous windows broken. After taking a look inside, he didn't see anyone inside what appeared to be a service area. Driving around to the rear of the building, , he saw five or six males squatting on the building's roof, attempting to hide.  He used his car's loudspeaker to order them down. But after a minute or two he had to go to the front of the building, where he spotted five of them inside, carrying skateboards and walking toward the front. Another male was seen running away from the building, also carrying a skateboard. That suspect was caught by other units across the street.

All of the suspects said they were skateboarding inside.

Office Maciel entered the building and saw broken windows, spray painting on walls, damaged walls and several pieces of skateboarding equipment.

The property owner reported he had been at the building earlier in the day and had seen spray painting on the walls, but the building was locked when he left.

Alexander N. Ward, 18, of Roswell; Jonathan B. Beckham, 17 of Milton; Richard T. Boyd, 19, of Roswell; David P. Harrison, 18, of Roswell; and two juveniles.

The adults–considered in Georgia to be those 17 and older–were being held in Fulton County Jail. The juveniles were released to their parents after being charged.
