Suspects Ignore Home Depot Workers, Drive Off with $4K in Tools

The following information was supplied by the Milton police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A pair of suspects walked out of Home Depot off Windward Parkway recently wiith approximately $4,000 worth of power tools without paying.

The man and woman spent 20 minutes in the home improvement store on Jan. 5, filling a shopping cart with between eight and twelve Dewalt and Milwaukee combo tool kits, according to an incident report by a Milton police officer.

When the couple walked past all registers without paying for the tools, two Home Depot employees approached them and asked to see their receipt. But the suspects just walked past them and loaded the tools into a black Isuzu Rodeo. The vehicle had no tags for the employees to copy down the number.
