Suspect Arrested in Purse Snatching
The following arrest information was supplied by the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety. It does not indicate a conviction.
A suspect has been arrested a week after an Alpharetta woman lost her purse to a thief while shopping at a shoe store.
The victim was shopping at on North Point Parkway on March 26. She left her purse on a bench to try on shoes, and told police she only stepped away from her purse for a moment when it was taken.
The suspect was seen on video from security cameras walking out of the store with the victim's purse.

The purse contained five credit and debit cards, her passport, driver's license, Social Security card, cell phone and $40 in cash.
Dikia Shanchez Fambro, 22, of Atlanta, has been charged with felony shoplifting. She was released on $5,000 bond.
