Police Seeking Missing Johns Creek Mom, Child

Johns Creek Police Department, GBI investigating disappearance of Lachella and Alexander Chapman.

The Johns Creek Police Department, in conjunction with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, is actively seeking the whereabouts of Lachella Marie Chapman and her 2-year-old son, Alexander Chapman. 

The two have been missing since Aug. 26 from Windbrooke Way in Johns Creek. Chapman’s mother reported the two missing after repeated attempts to contact them and finding the residence abandoned.

Family and friends have told police that it is not like Chapman to leave with her whereabouts unknown. Authorities are concerned for the well-being of the missing child.

Chapman is possibly driving a white 2007 Dodge Nitro, Georgia tag BKT 7962. She has ties in both Michigan and Washington state.  Authorities in those areas are working in conjunction with Georgia law enforcement in the search.
