Police Arrest Suspect in Indiana Woman's Death in Alpharetta

Alpharetta police officers arrested a man wanted in a homicide investigation in Parke County, Indiana, the Department of Public Safety announced today.
Earl L. Edwards, 52, of Indiana, was arrested and taken into custody on Friday, June 14, according to an email release from George Gordon, spokesman for the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety.
Edwards is wanted by the Parke County Sheriff's Office and the Indiana State Police in the investigation into the death of a Rosedale, IN woman.
Kathryn A. Bays, 55, of Rosedale, IN, died of blunt force trauma, according to an autopsy, TribStar.com reported.
Edwards, who is being held in the Fulton County Jail according to its website, will be brought back to Parke County to face charges, according to WTHITV 10's website.
Gordon said because of the ongoing, multi-state investigation, no other information will be released at this time.
