Police Arrest Milton Man for Stalking Wife Who Left Him
The following arrest information was supplied by the Milton police department. It does not indicate a conviction.
A Milton woman had to call police on Dec. 7 from her vehicle, which she was driving on Birmingham Road, because her husband was driving on the wrong side of the road to try to get her to pull over.
The woman told Milton police she had left her husband three days earlier, and since then he had been constantly calling and texting her. She had been in a similar situation while driving on Dec. 6, but she was able to lose him in traffic and park in a safe place to call and meet police.
She received 65 texts from him after telling him to stop calling or texting her on Dec. 5.

On this latest incident, a police officer followed her to her place of work when she spotted him driving past them. She pointed out the vehicle to the officer, and he was pulled over.
Milton police arrested the man and charged him with stalking, harassing communications and aggressive driving. He also was placed under a no contact order regarding his wife.

The officer advised her of resources regarding domestic violence, and she said she had already called the domestic violence helpline.Â
