Police Arrest Alpharetta Man in Fifth Third Bank Robbery

Roswell and Dunwoody police departments take suspect into custody after surveillance.

Police arrested an Alpharetta man in the Valentine’s Day Fifth Third Bank robbery in Roswell early Saturday morning, Feb. 26.

After a search warrant was issued for the suspect’s residence on Thompson Street in Alpharetta and surveillance was done at a location in Perimeter Mall, Adam Christopher Meacham, 26, was taken into custody with help from the Dunwoody Police Department. He has been turned over to Fulton County for booking.

Meacham is a suspect in the robbery at the Fifth Third Bank at the Kroger on Crossville Road, as well as another bank in Alpharetta.

According to reports, the suspect allegedly told bank tellers he had a gun and passed a note with his demands.

Roswell Police said the Alpharetta and Sandy Springs police departments helped on the case.
