Milton Resident, Business Owner Victims of Theft

TVs, Laptops Stolen from Milton Home
A Deerfield Point resident who left her home for just two hours found that two TVs and two laptops were missing.
The Milton woman called police on Aug. 8 at 6:59 p.m. to report the burglary. According to an incident report, her 50-inch Panasonic LCD TV was missing from the living room. She also discovered that a 32-inch TV, a 15-inch HP laptop and a 15-inch Acer laptop were missing. The four items were valued at more than $1,600.

Officers checked the apartment for intruders. They saw the front door of the apartment had been pried open, damaging the door and doorframe. The deadbolt was locked.
Milton Landscaper Loses Tools, Lawn Equipment in Theft Outside Home

A Milton small businessman reported the theft of lawn equipment and tools from his truck and trailer the morning of Aug. 9.
The theft victim told Milton police that he got home at 7 p.m. on Aug. 8 and parked in front of his home, leaving the truck doors locked. But when he came out to his truck the next day, he saw that a bag of work tools were removed from his truck and lawn equipment had been taken from his trailer. The stolen items were worth $2,600.
He told police two new guys worked for him on Aug. 8.
