Milton Dad Discovers Vehicle Plowed Into Son's Car

The following arrest information was supplied by the Milton police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Morris road resident heading out early one morning thought before his son left town he must have parked his Ford Escape at an odd angle in the driveway. But when he returned home a few hours later, he saw that his son's car had instead been forcefully moved.

A check of the area around the car revealed several car parts and damages to a tree in the front yard, plus tire marks in the front yard from a vehicle driving through it.

A Milton police officer investigating the incident on Dec. 30 determined that a vehicle had left the road, entered the front yard and struck a tree with its passenger side. It then continued moving and struck the Ford Escape in the driveway, pushing it sideways.

A piece of a headlight that showed its part number helped the officer determine it belonged to a 2003, 2004 or 2005 Mercury Marquis sedan.

Another Milton officer had arrested a suspect for DUI two doors down from the Morris Road father and son's home. The suspect had been driving a 2003 Mercury Marquis.
