Grass or Mulch Fire Sends Smoke Across GA 400 North of Alpharetta

Commuters could have a rough drive if the smoke reduces visibility this morning.

What police are reporting as a grass fire, and WSB-TV reports as a mulch fire is sending smoke across GA 400 in south Forsyth this morning. The smoke could cause problems for motorists during the morning commute.

The fire is on the west side of GA 400 between exit 12 (McFarland Road) and exit 13 (GA 141/Peachtree Parkway).

The smoke affects both northbound and southbound lanes of GA 400.
