Devon Brown, who has been with the department for 19 years, has been placed on personal leave.

A Fulton County sheriff’s deputy was arrested and charged earlier this month with illegally running a nightclub along Metropolitan Parkway in south Atlanta.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Devon Brown, who has been with the department 19 years, has been placed on personal leave following what was described as a routine compliance check of the club on Feb. 8.
