Fourth Robbery Suspect Arrested After Being Shot

The final suspect in a snatch and grab robbery at North Point Mall was arrested after Atlanta police responded to a call that he had been shot.

A fourth suspect in a snatch-and-grab at NorthPoint Mall on Nov. 29 was arrested after being shot in Atlanta.

Isaiah Burt, 25, was taken into custody by Atlanta police after they received a report of a person shot. Atlanta officers discovered the person shot was wanted by Alpharetta police, according to a news release from George Gordon, spokesman for the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety.

Burt had been shot in the leg and was taken to Grady Hospital.

Gordon's release said Burt was uncooperative with detectives. He said he was allegedly shot by the brother of one of the three other suspects in the North Point Mall robbery. By Burt's account, the shooting appears to be retaliation because the shooters brother was arrested.

According to the Fulton County Inmate website, Burt was released from the Fulton County Jail, with charges from Alpharetta, Dawson County and Union City Police Department.

The arrest information was supplied by the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety and the Fulton County Sheriff's Office website. It does not indicate a conviction

They travel all the way to Alpharetta to commit a stupid crime knowing they have to travel back down 400 ....between Alpharetta Police, Roswell Police and Sandy Springs Police, they're bound to get caught driving down 400. The police just have to look for the dudes with a right leg about three inches shorter than their left leg based on the mug shots.
