Drive Home From Roswell Puts Cumming Man Under Arrest in Milton

A Cumming man's trip home from a bowling alley in Roswell proved to be expensive.

On April 29 at 1:39 a.m., Milton Police Officer P. Fregosi was driving north on GA 9 behind a silver pickup truck when he noticed it weaving out of its lane. He stopped the truck at the Beverage Depot parking lot. The driver said he was weaving because he was texting on his phone.

Jacob T. Freese, 22, of Cumming, was charged with DUI, failure to maintain lane and license violation for driving between midnight and 6 a.m.

Police Find Lost Woodstock Woman, Arrest Her

A Woodstock woman who told Milton police she had been driving around for two hours because she was lost founder herself going to jail with a DUI arrest on April 20 at 1:04 a.m.

Milton Police Officer K. Grey wrote in an incident report about spotting a gold Acura traveling south on Cogburn Road near its intersection with Webb Road. When the vehicle moved out of its lane several times, the driver was pulled over.

Debbie A. Platt, 46, of Woodstock, was arrested on charges of DUI and failure to maintain lane.
