CAUTION: Traffic Lights Out at Major Intersections West of GA 400

Nine trees are down and two roadways are blocked.

UPDATE 7:45 p.m.: The trees have been removed from the roadways, but some power lines are still down, said George Gordon of the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety.

Traffic lighs at major intersections west of GA 400 are out due to a major power outage in Alpharetta, creating a dangerous evening commute.

Remember that when traffic lights are out, the intersection must be treated as a four-way stop. At busy intersections, left turns become dangerous and sometimes almost impossible to complete.
