Burglary Suspect Moves from State Prison to County Jail

The following arrest information was supplied by the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety. It does not indicate a conviction.

An arrest was made in a Mid Broadwell Road home burglary when a state prison released the suspect to Alpharetta police.
Christopher Trotter, 31, was picked up by Alpharetta police from Johnston State Correctional facility and arrested on a burglary charge. Trotter was taken to Fulton County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
Thieves stole a computer, a camcorder and a camera after prying open the back door with a crowbar.

Police Make Arrest in Credit Card Fraud Case
A credit card fraud case also was cleared by an arrest by Alpharetta police.
Jacqueline Michele Allen, 48, of Alpharetta, turned herself in and was charged with two counts of credit card fraud and one count of identity theft.
More than $14,000 in fraudulent charges were made on the Smoke House Court victim's credit card, which she reported in April.
