Alpharetta To Host Child Seat Inspection

The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety will be hosting a free child seat inspection event next week.
The event will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 24 at Alpharetta’s Fire Station No. 1, located at 2970 Webb Bridge Road in Alpharetta.
Police officers and firefighters, who are also certified child seat safety technicians, will offer educational materials and provide instructions and guidance to the attendees.
The purpose of the event is to educate to parents the importance of choosing, installing and properly using a child safety seat, the agency said.
