Alpharetta Shooting Suspect in Custody

Pierce was apprehended by another law enforcement agency and is now at the Fulton County jail.

The man wanted in connection to a shooting that injured another man last month is now in custody.

Timothy C. Pierce was arrested by another metro Atlanta law enforcement agency and has been transported to Fulton County's Rice Street jail, said Alpharetta Department of Public Safety Spokesperson George Gordon. 

Lt. Brian McGee with the Fulton County Sheriff's Office said Pierce was arrested early Friday morning by the office's Warrant Division. He was wanted by the DeKalb County Police Department on four counts of aggravated assault, one count of possession of a knife and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, McGee added.  

Pierce was wanted by Alpharetta on aggravated battery, possession of a firearm during commission of a Felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon charges in relation to the shooting that happened just before 3:30 a.m. Tuesday Sept. 24.

Police responded to multiple calls from residents and found a man a male victim in a parking lot at 1538 Planters Ridge Lane. 

The man had multiple gunshot wounds and was transported in stable condition to North Fulton Hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
