Alpharetta Police Ask Public to Help Find Suspect

The man is suspected of entering vehicles in Alpharetta, Johns Creek and Cobb County.

The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety wants the public's help in locating a man they suspect as being responsible for a number of entering automobile offenses in the Metro Atlanta region.

The suspect entered a vehicle in Alpharetta on Sept. 2, according to a news release by George Gordon, spokesman for the Public Safety department. He then allegedly attempted to use credit cards stolen when he entered the vehicle at Alpharetta businesses.

The suspect is a black male, last observed wearing a dark blue long sleeve shirt, black pants and a black hat.

Gordon said the man is a suspect in similar offenses in Cobb County and in the City of Johns Creek. He was seen driving a mid-size, silver, four-door Nissan Altima in every incident.

The Alpharetta Dept. of Public Safety is asking the public for assistance in identifying the suspect. If anyone knows the identity of the suspect, contact your local law enforcement agency immediately or contact Alpharetta police detectives at 678-297-6322.
