Alpharetta Man Dies in Double-Fatal South Forsyth Wreck

UPDATE: The second driver in the fatal accident happened early Friday morning in south Forsyth County was identified.

UPDATE: 6-1-12, 2:45 p.m. (second victim identified)

Two people were killed early Friday morning in a head-on collision on Old Alpharetta Road and Windhaven Drive in south Forsyth County, authorities said.

Both drivers–Samuel Chi Epeagba, 53, of Alpharetta and Cathy Jones, 50, of Suwanee–were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

There were no passengers in either vehicle or witnesses to the collision.

Sgt. Chris Shelton of the reports the driver of a 2002 Toyota Camry Solara was traveling northbound on Old Alpharetta Road, and for an unknown reason, crossed over into the southbound lane and collided head on with a 2005 Nissan Murano driven by Epeagba.

The collision remains under investigation.
