He also served as a volunteer firefighter for years with the Nesconset Fire Department in New York.
Frank J. Simari, 68, of Alpharetta, GA, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he was a longtime resident of Alpharetta.

He retired from Fulton County Sheriff's Office in Georgia. Mr. Simari also spent many years with Nesconset Fire Department in New York as a volunteer firefighter/EMT and Lieutenant of Company 3.
Cherished husband of Corinne. Loving father of Carla. Beloved grandfather of Anna. Also survived by sister Andrea and many loved cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday Nov. 2, 2013 at 1 p.m. at SouthCare Cremation & Funeral Society, 2260 Old Milton Parkway, Alpharetta GA 30009.
The family will be receiving friends immediately following service. Those wishing may make donations to American Cancer Society (donate.cancer.org)
