Renko (2:37.72) in the 800 meters and a 6th place by freshman Alyssa
Milton (6:51.68) in the 1600 meters concluded all the individual scorers.
the relays, Milton ran to the 8th best time in school history in the
4x1600. The Lady Eagles posted a 23:40.74, which was good enough for 3rd
place in the most competitive relay event in the meet.

Not in the top-3 the entire meet, a flurry of scorers near
the end brought the Eagles a 3rd place team trophy scoring 34
points. Parkview (50 pts) was the overall winner, followed by host Marietta (2nd-45
pts). Milton dispatched North Oconee (4th-30 pts) & Blessed
Trinity & Northview (both 5th-26 pts).

points for the Eagles as senior Kevin McGorrey was 2nd in the 1600
(4:55.13) and freshman Valera Stettner who was 5th in the 3200
meters running a personal best of 11:11.89.
The lone victory for Milton was the Eagles 4x1600 relay. In a back &
forth battle for the first 2-legs, Milton was able to pull away with a very
strong 3rd-leg to run the 8th fastest time in school
history! (19:33.83) This group (with
approx split times) included sophomore Jack Bluth (4:51.4), junior Preston Meade
(4:55.7), junior Connor Cole (4:49.7) & sophomore Clay Marshall (4:57).
