Twin Branch Nursery First Choice for Trees and Shrubs

Best nursery for trees and shrubs and best book on gardening in Georgia.

I've shopped plant nurseries all over the metro and one of the best kept secrets for excellent trees and shrubs is Twin Branch Nursery.  The first person to tell me about this nursery was a local arborist who ranted and raved about the quality plant material that they have.  To get there, go toward the Crabapple Kroger and and take a right (going north) on Hwy. 140, aka, Arnold Mill Road.  Make a left on Cox Road.  At this point you are still in the city of Milton, by the way.  Keep going west on Cox Road.  It will change city limits to Roswell and ultimately dead end on Wilie Bridge Road, which is Woodstock.  At this point make a right on Wilie Bridge Road, proceed down the road in a leftward direction and Twin Branch Nursery will be on your left.

Just visiting this nursery is a pleasure because it is almost like a 5-acre park.  The plant material here is some of the finest I've seen anywhere and yes, they will do installations.  Visit the Twin Branch Nursery website to see more and sign up for their newsletter.

And, as I've said before, I receive no, as in -0- renumeration for suggesting you visit these places.  I'm just trying to support local, quality businesses.

Speaking of quality, please spend the $25 or so and get the revised edition of Walter Reeves and Erica Glasener's book Month-by-Month Gardening in Georgia. This book tells you what to do month by month for your annuals, bulbs, edibles, perennials, grasses, lawns, roses, shrubs, trees and vines.  I just bought a copy at Lowe's and I'm very pleased with it.
